The Tender Board, the independent regulator of Bahrain Government procurement activities, today opened 79 bids related to Six tenders and one auction   for six purchasing authorities.

 

Among these, one tender opened for the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning (Works Affairs), for Building a line to salmabad trunk sewer (ASTS), seven bids were received for this tender.

 

Furthermore, two tenders opened for the Electricity and Water Authority, the first tender for Qualification of local contractors (existing & news) for measured term contract (MTC) civil maintenance works in electricity transmission directorate, 33 bids were received for this tender, the second tender, funded by the Saudi Fund, was to for Madinat Salman (AMAS) and Ramli Housing Developments- Water Transmission Pipeline Works (Lot A and Lot B), 12 bids have been received for this tender.

 

In the oil and gas sector, four bids were received for one auction for Bahrain Petroleum Company (Bapco) for the purchase and removal of scrapped material from the Bapco refinery salvage yard.

 

Moreover, one tender was also opened for the Gulf Air, one bid was received for Inflight Catering Uplift Services at Milan Malpensa (MXP) International Airport, Italy.

 

also been opened tender for the Bahrain Center for Strategic, international and Energy Studies for the Providing manpower (cleaners and hospitality workers) to the center, 13 bids were received.

 

Finally, the Board opened one tender for the Hala Bahrain Hospitality, for Appointing Advertising, Marketing and Creative Agency for the company, nine applications were received for this tender.

 
The tender process was attended by representatives of the bidding companies and companies participating in the tenders. In line with the Tender Board’s guidelines on competitiveness and fairness, the bids will be assessed on all relevant technical and financial criteria before being awarded to the best fit candidate.
