في إطار تدابير السلامة المرورية، تقوم وزارة الأشغال بتركيب مصدات امتصاص الصدمات
على مجموعة من الطرق الرئيسية التي تشهد تكراراً في الحوادث المرورية. ولضمان استمرار
هذه المصدات في أداء وظيفتها الأساسية، فإنها تتطلب أعمال إصلاح فورية وسريعة. ويشمل
نطاق العمل توريد قطع الغيار، والتركيب، وتقديم خدمات الصيانة لمختلف أنواع وطرازات هذه المصدات. كما تتضمن الأعمال المصاحبة -على سبيل المثال لا الحصر- تنفيذ الأعمال المدنية عند الضرورة (، وترتيب وتنفيذ خطط إدارة حركة المرور والتحويلات المرورية، وإخلاء موقع العمل، وإجراءات الإخطار في حالات الطوارئ، بالإضافة إلى تطبيق تدابير السلامة اللازمة قبل وأثناء وبعد إنجاز أعمال الإصلاح
As part of the traffic safety measures, the Ministry of Works (MOW) is implementing the installation of crash cushions on various major roads. These crash cushions are subject to frequent traffic accidents. In order to maintain and restore to its original purpose, crash cushion will require immediate and quick repair work. The scope of work involves supply of spare parts, install as well as service of the different type and model of the crash cushions. Other associated works are including but not limited to, civil works (if necessary), arrangement and implementation of traffic management and diversion, clearance of wayleave/ Emergency Notification as well as the required safety measures before, during and after the completion of the repair work
