BAPCO REFINING is seeking the interest of experienced manufacturers and suppliers for the Fire & Safety Equipment, Personal Safety Clothing and Equipment to establish a reliable business relationship to fulfill the requirement of Bapco refining units.

MANDATORY CRITERIA
EXPERIENCE
1-The Applicant must have a minimum of Five (5) years experience in manufacturing of different types of Fire & Safety Equipment for refineries, gas plant or petroleum product companies. Documentary evidence shall be submitted in the form of Commercial Registration certificate, Company profile, copies of Purchase orders/agreements or reference letter from clients issued for such work executed previously. The applicant shall provide company list where they supplied items listed in this document in GCC for Refinery/ Gas plant/ Petroleum plant
2-The Applicant shall submit documentary evidence to prove that they are regular manufacturer of each of the below commonly used Fire & Safety Equipment in Oil & Gas Industry. Documentary evidence can be any of Purchase order copies, Long Term Agreements or Audit reports.
The applicant will be qualified for the kind of the Fire & Safety Equipment where they have provided evidence for the supply with minimum of 2 purchase orders in the last 5 years to GCC for Refinery/ Gas plant/ Petroleum plant.
FINANCIAL RECORDS
3-The Applicant must have a sound and secure financial track record based on the audited financial results for the last three (3) years. The Applicant shall submit last three (3) years’ audited financial statements. Refer to the financial soundness evaluation following this table.

ENVIRONMENT, HEALTH AND SAFETY 4-
The Applicant must have a well-established Safety Policy, Safety Plan and must be accredited with valid certification e.g. OHSAS-18001, ISO-45001 or equivalent. Documentary evidence shall be submitted to substantiate the above HSE Policy and Procedures relevant to all areas of the Applicant’s operations.
Accreditation certificates from certifying bodies (DNV, ABS, Lloyds or equivalent) shall be available with applicant.
Applicant shall meet requirement as per applicable standards (ISO, API, ASME, NACE or equivalent) and same shall be submitted.
QUALITY CONTROL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
5-The Applicant shall have material traceability, QA / QC Policy, storage, and shipping procedure in place. Documentary evidence shall be submitted to substantiate the above.
The Applicant must have a well-established Quality control system and must be accredited with valid certification e.g. ISO 9001 Certification or equivalent. Documentary evidence shall be submitted to substantiate the above. MANDATORY CRITERIA CONTINUED:
· For any bid to be considered for evaluation and approval by the FHS Department, two deliverables must be submitted by the bidder:
1) technical datasheet of the item.
2) actual physical sample of the item.
*in the absence of any of the above two deliverables, the bid will not be considered for approval by the FHS Department.
· Bidder should demonstrate clear mechanism of his Complaint Management System.
· Bidder shall have a suitable showroom where all approved PPE are exhibited with clear original price tagس and specification.
· The bidders shall submit all the required details and relevant documentary evidence in support of fulfilling the qualification criteria.
