Scope of Work in English
Bapco Refining intends to hire experienced Security Guards for their Security Department for a 3-year period through a public tendering process. The Contractor must be licensed to employ and provide trained security personnel and keep these licenses valid and up to date during the contract period.

Mandatory Criteria
Introduction:
Any bidder classified as “Small” or “Medium” enterprise shall submit a copy of the certificate issued by the Ministry of Industry & Commerce (MOIC) as evidence of such status of the bidding entry.
Companies interested in tendering for the Provision of Security Personnel for Security Department should in the first instance read the Mandatory Criteria below and if they consider they qualify, then continue and complete the tender package.
The bidder shall meet the technical specifications as per the RFP and the following mandatory criteria. The bidder shall provide supporting documents along with their bid. Failure in meeting the technical specifications and the mandatory requirements, or failure to provide the supporting documents, shall render the bid disqualified.

| 1.1 | The bidder shall have an overall experience of minimum five (5)years in provision of similar services; with major Industrial Oil and Gas organisations. and shall submit documentary evidence such as copy of Agreement/PO/Client letter along with the tender |
| 1.2 | The bidder must meet all the following mandatory criteria and must ensure that they submit all the below mentioned documents along with the tender. The bidder who does not meet any of these criteria or failed to submit below mentioned documents with the tender bid will be disqualified and will not be considered for award of contract: |
| a. The bidder shall submit CVs and proof of full time employment in the form of ID cards / CPR (copies) for the proposed key personnel (Operations Manager, Account Manager, Finance Manager) and they must have minimum 5 years of experience. |
| b. The bidder shall be licensed to employ, and supply security personnel trained and certified by the Ministry of Interior (Guards Training School). Documentary evidence shall be submitted along with the bid |
| c. The bidder shall submit CV of proposed Safety officer and he must be Nebosh of equivalent certified. |
| d. The bidder must comply with the minimum safety standards of Bapco Refining as defined in “Guide to safety 2001 Edition plus addendum 1&2. Bapco Refining, at its entire discretion, shall physically verify and ascertain the bidder’s compliance by conducting an audit visit to the bidder’s premises. |
| e. The personnel proposed to be engaged in this project shall successfully pass security clearance procedure, the scrutiny to be conducted by Bapco Refining Security Department. |
| | f. All Bahraini guards must have driving license with 5 years of experience |
