Electricity and Water Authority, Kingdom of Bahrain announces the commencement of a pre-qualification process of Developers who shall participate later in an international competitive tender process to build, own and operate Sitra Independent Water and Power Plant (Sitra IWPP) with net capacity of 1200 MW of electricity and 30 MIGD of potable water.

Interested local and international developers, who are eligible and have experience in undertaking similar projects, are kindly requested to purchase the Pre-qualification Document (“PQD”) online through the e-tendering portal http://www.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from the date of this advertisement till the abovementioned closing date/time.
