The Bahrain Tender Board (BTB) has won the “Procurement Team of the Year 2025” award at the 2025 Procurement and Supply Futures Forum, organised by the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).

 

Established in the United Kingdom in 1932, CIPS is one of the world’s largest professional body in procurement and supply chain management, with over 200,000 members across more than 150 countries, dedicated to advancing best practices and excellence in the field.

 

The Board received this award in recognition of its project “Quality System and Documentation of Procedures and Processes” and its commitment to global best practices, achieving the highest standards of efficiency and quality in government tenders, auctions, procurement, and sales. This achievement highlights BTB’s efforts to continuously improve operational efficiency, elevate performance quality, and entrench international professional standards.

 

On this occasion, His Excellency Mr Yaser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Chairman of the Bahrain Tender Board, praised the Board for receiving this prestigious international award, expressing pride in this achievement, which reflects the dedication of BTB’s team, particularly the General Secretariat. He noted that the team’s collaborative spirit, professionalism, and adherence to a clear strategic vision and well-designed implementation plans had led to this international success.

 

His Excellency concluded by extending his gratitude and appreciation to the Secretary General, the Board Members, and all BTB staff for their commitment and dedication as part of Team Bahrain, delivering the highest levels of productivity and innovation to enhance institutional performance, while ensuring continuous development of work systems across vital areas of government procurement and sales.
