The Tender Board has announced the launch of a dedicated hotline to provide technical support and guidance for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) wishing to participate in government tenders and auctions. This initiative reflects the Board’s commitment to supporting SMEs by clarifying procedures and helping them submit compliant and competitive bids.
The initiative comes in line with the Board’s continued commitment to supporting SMEs by clarifying procedures and enhancing their ability to submit tender applications that meet the required terms and conditions.
His Excellency Mr. Yaser bin Ibrahim Humaidan, Chairman of the Bahrain Tender Board (BTB), affirmed that the launch of the hotline service reflects the Board’s efforts to foster a comprehensive and enabling business environment, thereby increasing the integration of SMEs into the competitive landscape of public procurement.
He stressed that supporting this segment is a key pillar in advancing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s sustainability and economic diversification goals, adding that the Board remains committed to adopting initiatives that enhance the competitiveness of this vital sector within the national economy.
In turn, Eng. Jamal Abdulaziz Al Alawi, Secretary General of the Bahrain Tender Board, noted that the Board continues to introduce innovative initiatives aimed at deepening partnerships with SMEs, in alignment with the government’s directives to strengthen this strategic sector, which represents one of the cornerstones of sustainable economic development.
