The Equal Opportunities Committee at the Tender Board held its first meeting of 2025, chaired by Eng. Reema Isa Al-Saffar, Director, Technical Evaluation at the Board, with the participation of the committee members.
The meeting reviewed the key outcomes of the committee’s work during 2024 and discussed the timeline for implementing the initiatives included in the 2025 plan, in line with the Supreme Council for Women’s strategy and the National Plan. These efforts aim to promote the principle of equal opportunities and gender balance, foster a supportive and motivating work environment for Bahraini women working at the Board, and follow up on matters related to the committee’s mandates and objectives.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairwoman of the Committee affirmed the Board’s commitment to strengthening the role of the Equal Opportunities Committee and its full support for the implementation of the planned initiatives, while continuing to introduce developmental and training programs that enhance staff capabilities and empower them in their various positions.
