The Tender Board organized virtual workshops entitled “Suppliers and Contractors’ Rights”, attended by 148 procurement specialists from private sector companies. The initiative reflects the Board’s commitment to promoting transparency, fairness, and equal opportunities in government procurement.
His Excellency Mr. Yaser Bin Ebrahim Humaidan, Minister of Electricity and Water Affairs and Chairman of the Tender Board, affirmed that raising awareness and enhancing knowledge are cornerstones of successful partnerships. He emphasized that such workshops contribute to improving public spending efficiency and reinforce the values of integrity, transparency, and competitiveness throughout the government procurement cycle.
The workshop focused on the legal frameworks and statutory timelines that govern procurement processes, with the aim of enabling participants to submit higher-quality bids and support more efficient public expenditure.
The event concluded with an open discussion session, during which participants shared their insights and inquiries—demonstrating the Board’s dedication to maintaining effective communication with private sector partners and fostering a culture of collaboration and openness.
