The project aims to create vibrant and functional public spaces that encourage community engagement and support local cultural and economic activities. ,تسعى هيئة البحرين للثقافة والآثار إلى تنفيذ مشروع التجديد الحضري في نطاق بيت فخرو بمدينة المحرّق، والذي يهدف إلى تطوير ثلاث قطع أراضٍ فضاء والارتقاء بواجهات المباني المحيطة، بما يعزز الهوية الثقافية والعمرانية للمدينة التاريخية. يتكوّن المشروع من جزأين رئيسيين: الأول لتطوير ساحتان عامة، والثاني لتحسين واجهات المباني المجاورة. وتأتي هذه المناقصة لتكليف مكتب استشاري متخصص بإعداد التصاميم الحضرية لتطوير الساحتان الواقعتان ضمن نطاق المشروع. يشكّل المشروع نموذجًا للتجديد العمراني المتكامل في نطاقٍ تراثي يتوسط المجمعات السكنية من خلال إيجاد مساحات عامة حيوية تشجع المشاركة المجتمعية وتدعم الأنشطة الثقافية والاقتصادية المحلية.
