Tender Title: Waste Management Services 

Exhibition World Bahrain invites interested vendors to submit their bids for the provision of Waste Management Services in accordance with the tender specifications and scope of work.

Mandatory Requirements (Pass/Fail Criteria):

  • Bidder must confirm in writing that all services will be performed by 1st December 2025, in full compliance with the Scope of Work and Specifications. Bidders who do not provide this written confirmation will be disqualified.

  • Provide an Organizational Chart indicating management and staff positions, number of staff, and relevant experience.

  • Bidder must have a minimum of five (5) years' experience providing waste management services to major entities in Bahrain (e.g. government, hospitals, hospitality, events, exhibition & convention centres, entertainment). Submit copies of contracts, purchase orders, or reference letters as evidence.

  • Submit a detailed List of Vehicles, Drivers, Crew, and Skips (all types) along with vehicle registration certificates.

  • Submit copies of the last two annual balance sheets and auditor reports, along with written authority to approach the tenderer's bank, including bank name and contact details.

  • Submit a statement of authorized signatories, listing the names and designations of individuals authorized to sign agreements.

  • All tender documents and attachments must be properly bound and submitted in full.

Failure to meet any of the above mandatory requirements will result in disqualification.

عنوان المناقصة: خدمات إدارة النفايات 

يدعو معرض البحرين العالمي الموردين المهتمين إلى تقديم عروضهم لتوفير خدمات إدارة النفايات وفقًا لمتطلبات المناقصة ونطاق العمل.

المتطلبات الإلزامية (نظام النجاح/الرسوب):

  • يجب على المتقدم تأكيد كتابيًا بأن جميع الخدمات ستُنفذ في موعد أقصاه 1 ديسمبر 2025 والالتزام الكامل بنطاق العمل والمواصفات. سيتم استبعاد أي عرض لا يحتوي على هذا التأكيد الكتابي.

  • تقديم هيكل تنظيمي يوضح المناصب الإدارية والوظيفية، وعدد الموظفين، وخبراتهم.

  • يجب أن يمتلك المتقدم خبرة لا تقل عن خمس (5) سنوات في تقديم خدمات إدارة النفايات لجهات كبرى في البحرين (مثل الجهات الحكومية، المستشفيات، الضيافة، الفعاليات، مراكز المعارض والمؤتمرات، الترفيه). ويجب إرفاق نسخ من العقود أو أوامر الشراء أو خطابات التوصية كدليل.

  • تقديم قائمة تفصيلية بالمركبات والسائقين والطاقم وحاويات النفايات (بجميع أنواعها) مع نسخ من شهادات تسجيل المركبات.

  • تقديم نسخة من الميزانيات السنوية وتقارير المدققين لآخر سنتين، بالإضافة إلى تفويض كتابي للجهة بالرجوع إلى بنك المورد مع ذكر اسم البنك ومعلومات الاتصال.

  • تقديم بيان بأسماء المخولين بالتوقيع عن الشركة مع تحديد مناصبهم الرسمية.

  • يجب أن تكون جميع مستندات المناقصة والمرفقات مجلدة ومقدمة بشكل منظم.

أي إخفاق في استيفاء هذه المتطلبات سيؤدي إلى استبعاد العرض.


How to Participate?

  • Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Monday, 01 September 2025
  • Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
  • For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
  • The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Insurance Policy or Cash (or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.
  • The bids deposit place: (As Mentioned in the Tender Documents)
  • This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
  • In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
    • Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender's subject.
    • Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
  • This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
  • Small and Medium Enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender. The certificate is awarded by Ministry of Industry Commerce and Tourism to the SMEs and can be obtained when applying on the SMEs Registration System which can be reached via the following link: https://www.moic.gov.bh/en/eServices/sme
