Comprehensive Tender for operation and maintenance of soft landscapes in roads, gardens, and residential areas (41 Months) in the southern area governate for the southern area municipality.


Mandatory Requirements

Tenderer shall submit documentary evidence in support of meeting the criteria below along with the bid without fail. No grace period shall be granted for submission of missing documents related to bidders’ qualification. (SAM AUDIT TEAM HAS THE RIGHT TO REQUEST A VISIT TO VERIFY ANY OF THE BELOW)

·        The Tenderer must have a minimum number of 250 gardeners, (CPR copies must be submitted in the bid) with proof that all are registered under the bidding company.

·        The Tenderer is to have completed / or has an ongoing of minimum 5 Major governmental & private projects in the field of application in the past year (only landscape maintenance project will be considered landscape development projects followed by a maintenance period are not to be considered).

·        Tenderer is to provide a satisfactory performance appraisal of the ongoing or completed projects mentioned above.

Failure to submit either one of the above documents will result in disqualification of the Tender.

المناقصة الشاملة لتشغيل وصيانة المزروعات في الشوارع والحدائق والمناطق السكنية (41 أشهر) في محافظة المنطقة الجنوبية لصالح بلدية المنطقة الجنوبية.


المتطلبات الإلزامية

على مقدم العطاء تقديم أدلة مستندية تدعم استيفاء المعايير أدناه مع عرضه دون إخفاق. لن تُمنح أي فترة سماح لتقديم أي مستندات ناقصة تتعلق بمؤهلات مقدمي العطاءات. (يحق لفريق التدقيق في سام طلب زيارة للتحقق من أي مما يلي):

          يجب أن يكون لدى مقدم العطاء عدد لا يقل عن 250 بستاني (يجب تقديم نسخ من البطاقة السكانية مع العرض) مع إثبات تسجيلهم جميعًا لدى الشركة المتقدمة للعطاء.

          يجب أن يكون مقدم العطاء قد أنجز أو لديه ما لا يقل عن 5 مشاريع حكومية وخاصة رئيسية في مجال التطبيق خلال العام الماضي (سيتم اعتبار مشروع صيانة المناظر الطبيعية فقط، ولن تُؤخذ مشاريع تطوير المناظر الطبيعية التي تتبعها فترة صيانة في الاعتبار).

          يجب على مقدم العطاء تقديم تقييم أداء مُرضٍ للمشاريع الجارية أو المكتملة المذكورة أعلاه.

سيؤدي عدم تقديم أي من المستندات المذكورة أعلاه إلى استبعاد العرض.


How to Participate?

  • Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Monday, 26 May 2025
  • Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
  • For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
  • The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Insurance Policy or Cash (or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.
  • The bids deposit place: (As Mentioned in the Tender Documents)
  • This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
  • In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
    • Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender's subject.
    • Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
  • This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
  • Small and Medium Enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender. The certificate is awarded by Ministry of Industry Commerce and Tourism to the SMEs and can be obtained when applying on the SMEs Registration System which can be reached via the following link: https://www.moic.gov.bh/en/eServices/sme
