Tender Description

Bapco Upstream currently concluded phase 5 of the casing vapor recovery (CVR) program where a total of 274 beam pump unit wells are connected to a designated network located in the center of the Bahrain oil field. This network has a compression of 12.4 MMSCFD by using 6 compressors located at TB07 and TB08. The intention of the next phase in this program is to increase the network capacity by another 6 MMSCFD through the procurement and installation of two sliding vane compressors to be installed at WM30, while also expanding the network to the south and hooking up an additional 75 wells in the process. The expected production gain at hook up is approximately 568 Barrels of Oil Per Day (BOPD).

توريد غلاف استعادة البخار

اختتمت شركة بابكو للتنقيب حاليًا المرحلة الخامسة من برنامج استعادة بخار التغليف (CVR) حيث تم ربط إجمالي 274 بئرًا من وحدات الضخ بشبكة محددة تقع في وسط حقل نفط البحرين. تتمتع هذه الشبكة بضغط يصل إلى 12.4 MMSCFD باستخدام 6 ضواغط موجودة في TB07 وTB08. الهدف من المرحلة التالية في هذا البرنامج هو زيادة سعة الشبكة بمقدار 6 ملايين قدم مكعب قياسي أخرى من خلال شراء وتركيب ضاغطين دوارين منزلقين سيتم تركيبهما في WM30، مع توسيع الشبكة أيضًا إلى الجنوب وربط 75 بئرًا إضافية. في هذه العملية. تبلغ الزيادة المتوقعة في الإنتاج عند التوصيل حوالي 568 برميلًا من النفط يوميًا (BOPD).

Bidders shall meet the below mandatory criteria to be evaluated further:

1- Bidder shall confirm compliance with the listed requirements and tender scope of work, all Company & Project specifications, Company Policies, Standards & Procedures and applicable International design standards as specified and listed in the tender documents. Note: Any exceptions shall be stated clearly in the deviation list. EXCEPTIONS MAY BE DETRIMENTAL TO THE CONSIDERATION OF BID

2- Bidder shall have direct relevant work experience of not less than five (5) years (inclusive of minimum one package delivery in the past 5 years) of compressors packaging including engineering design, procurement, fabrication & supply of industrial natural gas compression packages.

3- Bidder shall submit a financial statement audit by third-party auditor for 3 years minimum. (Current Ratio/ Debit Ratio/ Profit Margin Ratio).

How to Participate?

Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Thursday, 16 January 2025
Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Insurance Policy or Cash (or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.

This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
- Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender's subject.
- Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
Micro, small and medium enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender. The certificate is awarded by Ministry of Industry Commerce and Tourism to the SMEs and can be obtained when applying on the SMEs Registration System which can be reached via the following link: https://www.moic.gov.bh/en/eServices/sme
