Tender Description

This tender aims to provide a comprehensive maintenance and repair service for electrical installations in schools, institutes, and administrative buildings affiliated with the Ministry of Education, in order to ensure the safety and efficiency of electrical systems and their continuous operation without interruption. It also includes inspection work, maintenance of connections, repair of emergency faults, and replacement of electrical parts and damaged components in accordance with approved technical specifications and applicable standards.

نعلن وزارة التربية والتعليم عن طرح مناقصة لتوفير خدمات صيانة وإصلاح التركيبات الكهربائية في المدارس والمعاهد والمباني الادارية التابعة لوزارة التربية والتعليموذلك بهدف ضمان سلامة وكفاءة الأنظمة الكهربائية واستمرارية تشغيلها وتشمل اعمال الصيانة ومعالجة الأعطال الطارئة واصلاح واستبدال المكونات الكهرائية التالفة والالتزام بالمواصفات الفنية والمعايير المطلوبة.

- سوف تستبعد العطاءات التي لا ترفق استمارة تقديم الأسعار BOQ واستمارة الإقرار 3- Tender Statement) Form No) مع المستندات، والتي تحتوي على إقرار بالموافقة على شروط المناقصة، على أن تكون هذه الاستمارة مختومة وممهورة بتوقيع المخول بالتوقيع من مقدم العطاء.

- يحق لوزارة التربية والتعليم استبعاد العطاء الذي قام بإضافة أو حذف أية بنود بكشف الأسعار BOQ (المتوفر بصيغة الاكسيل) بمستندات المناقصة.

The Ministry of Education announces a tender for the provision of maintenance and repair services for electrical installations in schools, institutes and administrative buildings affiliated with the Ministry of Education, with the aim of ensuring the safety and efficiency of electrical systems and the continuity of their operation. Maintenance work includes handling emergency faults, repairing and replacing damaged electrical components and adhering to the required technical specifications and standards.

- Bids that do not include a BOQ (Bids Submission Form) and Tender Statement Form (Form No. 3) with the documents, which contain an acknowledgment of agreement to the tender conditions, will be excluded. This form must be stamped and signed by the authorized signatory of the bidder.

-The Ministry of Education has the right to exclude any bid that has added or deleted any items in the BOQ price list (available in Excel format) in the tender documents.

How to Participate?

Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Sunday, 08 February 2026
Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, or Insurance Policy.(or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.
The bids deposit place: (As Mentioned in the Tender Documents)
This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
- Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender's subject.
- Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
Small and Medium Enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender. The certificate is awarded by Ministry of Industry Commerce and Tourism to the SMEs and can be obtained when applying on the SMEs Registration System which can be reached via the following link: https://www.moic.gov.bh/en/eServices/sme
