On behalf of Ministry of Interiors (MoI), the Ministry of Electricity and Water Affairs (MEWA) invites bidders to participate in "Request for Proposal for Build Own Operate and Maintain (BOOM) a minimum capacity of 15.5 MWac grid-tied solar PV power plant on building rooftops and car park at Ministry of Interiors for a 20-Year period Contract".
تدعوكم وزارة شؤون الكهرباء و الماء للمشاركة في مناقصة تركيب قدرة لا تقل عن 15.5 ميغاوات من أنظمة الطاقة الشمسية وربطها بالشبكة الوطنية للكهرباء بصفة تعاقدية قائمة على الانشاء-الامتلاك-التشغيل-والصيانه على مدى ٢٠ عام على أسطح المباني و في مواقف السيارات وزارة الداخلية و توفير محطات شحن سيارات كهربائية
Bidder Company or Consortium requirement: i. Primary Bidder of an individual company or a consortium must be a local company (including GCC) and registered in Bahrain or GCC countries. ii. Individual company or one of the consortium members is engaged in the business of solar PV energy; and iii. In the case of consortium, the members may consist of international companies, provided that they are not the Primary Bidder.
Project Testimonial Requirements: Bidders must have successfully commissioned at least 10 MWac grid-tied solarPV projects on a turnkey basis in the last 5 Years in any country globally(cumulative over all members in the case of a consortium). ii. Bidders must have successfully commissioned least one (1) Solar PV car parkprojects) in the last 5 Years in any country globally (cumulative over allmembers in the case of a consortium). iii. Bidders must have successfully commissioned least one (1) Solar PV Rooftopprojects) in the last 5 Years in any country globally (cumulative over allmembers in the case of a consortium).
Tariff requirements: The Fixed Tariff rate quoted by the Bidder shall NOT exceed 21 fils per kWh, failing which the Financial Response will be held as NON-RESPONSIVE and will be SUMMARILY REJECTED
