Tender Description

Provision of fitness equipment and sports equipment for individual and group exercises in the designated space for the health club at Abdullah bin Khalid College of Islamic Studies. The equipment and sports equipment must be of high quality and able to withstand repeated use. They must be new and unused, and not refurbished. They must also be from specialized, well-known and recognized companies in their field.

توفير الأجهزة الخاصة باللياقة البدنية والمعدات الرياضية لأنواع التمارين الفردية والجماعية بالمكان المخصص للنادي الصحي بكلية عبدالله بن خالد للدراسات الإسلامية ويجب ان تكون الأصناف ذات صناعة عالية الجودة وتتحمل الاستخدام المتكرر بحيث تكون جديدة وغير مستخدمة من قبل وألا تكون مجددة، وأن تكون من شركات متخصصة في مجالها ومعروفة ومعترف بها.

‌* يلتزم مقدم العطاء / المورد بتسليم عينات بالحجم الطبيعي للأصناف وتجهيزها بمخازن وزارة التربية بالبسيتين وذلك ليتم فحصها من قبل اللجنة الفنية وذلك في يوم غلق صندوق المناقصة من الساعة 8 صباحاً وحتى 12 ظهراً.

* يقوم مقدم العطاء / المورد بتقديم العطاء مع إرفاق الضمان الابتدائي الأصلي وكافة الاستمارات والشهادات المطلوبة في ظرف خاص، ويكتب على الظرف اسم المناقصة ورقـمها، ويوضع الظرف في صندوق العطاءات الخاص بالمناقصة في الطابق الأول بإدارة الخدمات (إدارة المواد والتجهيزات سابقاً) بالقضيبية التابعة لوزارة التربية والتعليم، وسوف تفتح العطاءات في اليوم التالي ليوم قفل صندوق المناقصة، وسوف تعلن النتائج بلوحة الإعلانات بإدارة الخدمات (إدارة المواد والتجهيزات سابقاً) بعد الفتح.

The equipment and sports equipment must be of high quality and able to withstand repeated use. They must be new and unused, and not refurbished. They must also be from specialized, well-known and recognized companies in their field.

*The bidder/supplier undertakes to deliver full-size samples of the items and prepare them at the Ministry of Education warehouses in Al Busaiteen for inspection by the technical committee on the day of the tender box closing from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Bidder/Supplier shall submit the bid with the original bid security and all required forms and certificates in a special envelope. The envelope shall be written with the name and number of the tender, and the envelope shall be placed in the tender box of the tender on the first floor of the Services Department (formerly the Materials and supplies Department) in Al-Qudaybiyah,Ministry of Education. The bids will be opened on the day following the closing of the tender box, and the results will be announced on the bulletin board of the Services Department (formerly the Materials and supplies Department) after the opening.

How to Participate?

Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Saturday, 24 February 2024
Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Insurance Policy or Cash (or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.

This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
- Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender's subject.
- Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
Small and Medium Enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender. The certificate is awarded by Ministry of Industry Commerce and Tourism to the SMEs and can be obtained when applying on the SMEs Registration System which can be reached via the following link: https://www.moic.gov.bh/en/eServices/sme
