Tender Description

The types of issues that are to be fixed as part of this data cleansing project includes the following Typos and invalid or missing data Inconsistent data Duplicate data Irrelevant data Review up to 53000 items stocked under the inventory of Bapco Procurement and Contracts department and provide a data profiling report to identify what data issues exist. Carry out data analysis data cleansing and data migration services as required The ERP system that is being used by the Company is Oracle EBS Define and complete any missing data or information in coordination with the inventory controller Recommend tools and strategy to support the data analysis data cleansing and data migration requirement for the Company to prevent minimize recurrence of data issues The contractor should take in consideration the Company ERP system. Provide a comprehensive statistical report summarizing the findings actions taken and figures before and after performing the job

Mandatory Criteria

The bidders shall submit documentary evidence in support of meeting the criteria below along with the bid documents. The bidder will be automatically disqualified if failed to submit any of the mandatory documents and no grace period shall be granted for submission.

1.1 The Bidder shall have at least seven (7) years previous experience in providing data profiling, data analysis and data cleansing services to reputable industrial companies. (Copies of Purchase Agreements/Purchase Orders must be submitted as documentary evidence for seven years’ experience).

1.2 The Bidder shall have performed minimum of three (3) data cleansing projects for inventory data during the last five (5) years. (Copies of Purchase Agreements, Purchase Orders or list of projects, values, clients, and references’ must be submitted).

1.3 The scope of work under this project shall be part of the authorized activities under the commercial registration of the bidder. (Copy of the commercial registration certificate along with any other evidence must be submitted)

1.4 The Bidder shall provide their organization chart to perform this project within the required time (Copy of the Organization chart and CV's must be submitted).

1.5 The Bidder shall submit a preliminary process map to explain their proposal for performing this project along with a clear plan covering the main steps with details and methodology for each step.

(A detailed and feasible plan must be submitted)

1.6 The Bidder shall submit the audited financial reports for the last three (3) years along with their bid,  where the financial soundness will be assessed by the Company if the bidder is found successful for this tender, as part of the vendor registration process.

 


How to Participate?

  • Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Thursday, 13 July 2023
  • Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
  • For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
  • The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, or Insurance Policy.(or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.
  • The bids deposit place: (As Mentioned in the Tender Documents)
  • This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
  • In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
    • Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender's subject.
    • Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
  • This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
  • Small and Medium Enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender. The certificate is awarded by Ministry of Industry Commerce and Tourism to the SMEs and can be obtained when applying on the SMEs Registration System which can be reached via the following link: https://www.moic.gov.bh/en/eServices/sme
