BAC through this RFP is seeking proposals from bidders for Supply of cone paper cups at BIA. BAC has provided in this RFP the specifications required and the Successful Bidder is expected to cover the requirements listed in the scope and specifications section and bills of quantity as specified in this RFP. This RFP should be read carefully, and all requirements should be clearly met. The successful contract shall sign an agreement a supply of goods agreement.

The Bidders shall meet the mandatory requirements mentioned in BTB’s portal and the tender advertisement to qualify for the technical/financial evaluation. The criteria shall be as follows:

        i.            The bidder shall be manufacturer of cone paper cups or a trader with its principal business activity include supply and trading of catering products.

       ii.            The bidder shall have minimum of 5 years trading/ manufacturing of products (cellulose tissue paper products or disposable catering items) in Bahrain and supplying to government or commercial entities.

     iii.            The bidder shall submit following evidence that meet the mandatory criteria i and ii:

a.      Proof of having 5 years’ experience + CR with related activities.

b.      Proof for having supplied related products (catering disposables countries, packaging items and paper cups) to governmental, semi-governmental or commercial companies)- submit documents any or all types such as purchase orders, delivery notes and copy of contract for the period January- December 2023.

     iv.            The bidder’s submitted product shall meet with the required specification parameter and shall submit a sample of the product proposed within 7 days from the date of proposal submission to BAC.

     v.         The bidder shall fill all the fields with prices in Bill of quantity section given at Document 1 of 4, section 5  (Table -i. “Unit Rate ( before VAT)” and Table- ii. “Summary of Total Tender Prices”

تسعى BAC من خلال طلب تقديم العروض هذا للحصول على مقترحات من مقدمي العطاءات لتوريد أكواب ورقية مخروطية في BIA. قدمت شركة مطار البحرين في طلب تقديم العروض هذا المواصفات المطلوبة ومن المتوقع أن يغطي مقدم العطاء الفائز المتطلبات المدرجة في قسم النطاق والمواصفات وجداول الكمية كما هو محدد في طلب تقديم العروض هذا. يجب قراءة طلب تقديم العروض هذا بعناية ، ويجب تلبية جميع المتطلبات بوضوح. يجب أن يوقع العقد الفائز اتفاقية توريد البضائع.

يجب أن يستوفي مقدمو العطاءات المتطلبات الإلزامية المذكورة في بوابة BTB وإعلان المناقصة للتأهل للتقييم الفني / المالي. يجب أن تكون المعايير على النحو التالي:

    يجب أن يكون مقدم العطاء مصنعا للأكواب الورقية المخروطية أو تاجرا يشمل نشاطه التجاري الرئيسي توريد وتجارة منتجات التموين.

 iii. يجب على مقدم العطاء تقديم الأدلة التالية التي تستوفي المعايير الإلزامية i و ii:

a.      إثبات وجود خبرة 5 سنوات + سجل تجاري مع الأنشطة ذات الصلة.

b.      إثبات توريد المنتجات ذات الصلة (تقديم الطعام إلى البلدان المستهلكة ومواد التعبئة والتغليف والأكواب الورقية) إلى الشركات الحكومية أو شبه الحكومية أو التجارية) - تقديم المستندات أي أو جميع الأنواع مثل أوامر الشراء ومذكرات التسليم ونسخة من العقد للفترة من يناير إلى ديسمبر 2023.

     iv. يجب أن يستوفي المنتج المقدم من مقدم العطاء معيار المواصفات المطلوب وأن يقدم عينة من المنتج المقترح في غضون 7 أيام من تاريخ تقديم العرض إلى BAC.

v.         يجب على مقدم العطاء ملء جميع الحقول بالأسعار في قسم قائمة الكمية الوارد في المستند 1 من 4 ، القسم 5 (الجدول -i. "سعر الوحدة (قبل ضريبة القيمة المضافة)" والجدول الثاني. "ملخص إجمالي أسعار المناقصات"
  


How to Participate?

  • Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Thursday, 11 January 2024
  • Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
  • For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
  • The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, or Insurance Policy.(or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.
  • The bids deposit place: (As Mentioned in the Tender Documents)
  • This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
  • In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
    • Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender's subject.
    • Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
  • This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
  • Small and Medium Enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender. The certificate is awarded by Ministry of Industry Commerce and Tourism to the SMEs and can be obtained when applying on the SMEs Registration System which can be reached via the following link: https://www.moic.gov.bh/en/eServices/sme
