The Awali Field has around 2300 wells drilled by Bapco and Tatweer Petroleum. Some of these old wells drilled by Bapco have no directional surveys, hence, when Tatweer Petroleum started to operate in Bahrain, gyroscopic surveys have been run on these wells either in several campaigns or only when needed if the wells are available for survey. To date, there are still around 160 old wells (on active production) without any directional survey and at any given point will need to have a gyro survey as there are new well plans being are prepared which are in close proximity with these existing wells. It is an important aspect of the drilling operations that there is accurate directional survey of the wells within an oil field and avoid potential collision with one another that can be catastrophic.

BIDDER'S PROFILE
1. Bidder has proven 15 years experience as a Gyro Survey Services Company in GCC Region with documented evidences.
2. Bidder has current gyro survey contract/s with other companies in GCC Region with documented evidences.
3. Detailed Management Plan describing how Bidder will manage operations.
4. Bidder shall confirm capability to provide services for Relief Well Application through documented evidences.
5. Bidder shall confirm in writing of fully understanding the Scope of Work and adherence to the Contractual requirements throughout the duration of the Agreement.
