Tender Description

The scope of work shall includes but not limited to, provision of insulation on “as and when required” Call-out basis. The work shall comprise removal of existing insulation (if & where necessary) and re-fixing of the same (i.e. already removed) insulation or provision of new insulation, if old / existing insulation is found damaged on vessels and pipe work. The work shall also comprise repair or renew of existing refractory if found damaged on the steam generators or on the oil heaters or CGDF Incinerator/Hot Oil heater.

Section 1: Technical Evaluation - Mandatory Criteria

1.1 Bidder must have a minimum of Three (3) years in-house experience in Hot insulation and refractory works

as mentioned in Exhibit A scope of work with associated equipment and has experience within the Oil / Gas

Industry.

1.2 Bidder shall have Bahrain-based facilities and infrastructure comprising of office building/s, fabrication

workshop/s, open yard/s for storage of

bulk materials and prefabricated items as well as plant and equipment for site work - legitimate proof

documentation to be submitted as an evidence of Bahrain based facilities ownership

1.3 Bidder complies with the minimum requirements pertaining to Attachment 5 of Exhibit A (Procedures

Combined)

 

Section 2: QA/QC - Mandatory Criteria

2.1 Bidder operates an effective documented quality management system based on the requirements of ISO

9001:2015 , or a COMPANY approved equivalent such as ASME or API. The QMS questionnaire is submitted

with satisfactory answers to all questions. Evidences/ justifications are required for each question along

with certification
