Tender Description

This Purchase Specification along with the datasheets and all attachments thereto defines the scope of work and services for the supply of an API 610 compliance Centrifugal Pumps amended by BMPS G2 at 6VDU facility in Bapco Refinery. The pumps shall be supplied complete with fixed speed electric motor driver, self-contained seal system, baseplate, fully assembled and wired, instrumented, tested and pre commissioned in accordance with this specification and applicable datasheets, standards and BMP Specifications.

The pumps shall be supplied complete with fixed speed electric motordriver, self-contained seal system, baseplate, fully assembled and wired,instrumented, tested and precommissioned in accordance with thisspecification and applicable datasheets, standards and BMP Specifications.	تُحدد مواصفات الشراء هذه - إلى جانب أوراق البيانات وجميع الملحقاتالتابعة لها - نطاق العمل والخدمات المتعلقة بتوريد مضخات طاردة مركزية متوافقةمع معيار API 610 ومُعدَّلة وفقاً للمواصفة BMPS-G2 لمنشأة وحدة التقطير الفراغيالسادسة v6VDU في مصفاة بابكو. ويجب توريد المضخات مجهزةً بالكامل، بما في ذلكمحرك كهربائي ثابت السرعة، ونظام منع تسرب seal system مستقل، ولوحة قاعدة، علىأن تكون مجمعة وموصلة بالكامل، ومزودة بأجهزة القياس والتحكم، ومُختبرة وجاهزةلمرحلة ما قبل التشغيل، وذلك وفقاً لهذه المواصفات وأوراق البيانات والمعاييرومواصفات BMP ذات الصلة.

1	MANDATORYPASS/FAIL CRITERIA TheBidder must provide the following details with documentary evidence. Onlybids meeting all Mandatory Criteria will proceed to technical and commercialevaluation.
1.1	Experience: Bidder shall have manufactured and supplied aminimum of 5 (five) API 610 centrifugal pumps similar to the ones requiredin the purchase specification during the last 10 (ten) years toOil & Gas majors within GCC region. The Bidder shall provide a list of their executedProjects with year of supply/completion date meeting the above criteria. TheBidder shall also provide at least one of the following acceptable forms ofproof for projects carried out: Clientletter(s) of reference Jobcompletion certificate(s) issued by the client UnpricedPurchase Order(s) Note: In case the Bidder is the sole authorized agentof the pump manufacturer for Bahrain, the above mentioned criteria shall becomplied by the pump manufacturer. Pleaseprovide the details as per the format in Appendix- B.	MANDATORY
1.2	QualityManagement System: The Manufacturershall have an established Quality Management System compliant with ISO9001-2015 for the relevant activities of this tender. Bidder shallsubmit a copy of valid ISO 9001 certificate, or their existing systemdocumentation is to be submitted	MANDATORY

How to Participate?

Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Thursday, 24 September 2026
Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-.
For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to attach the initial bond as stated above and it must be included within the technical bid.
The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Insurance Policy or Bank Transfer (or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.
If the bidder chooses to submit the initial bond in the form of a Bank transfer, the guarantee amount must be provided as a fixed amount mentioned and not as a percentage of the bid value.

In addition, the following shall be considered:
- Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender's subject.
- Enclose copy of a valid Bahrainisation Certificate issued by the Ministry of Labour.
This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs)are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage when participating in tenders, and in auctions related to service facilities within government entities premises, however this shall not apply to tenders of a special nature. SMEs bidders shall submit along with their bids the valid SMEs Certificate issued by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, which can be obtained through the following link (https://www.moic.gov.bh/index.php/en/sme_services)
