Tender Description

Additional Notes

Bapco Energies intend to enter into a contract with successful bidder to provide Facility management & minor maintenance services for the BE offices( 10, 13, 15, 38, 39, 40 & 41st Floors )  located at the Bahrain Financial Harbour (BFH),  East Tower, Manama.

 

This contract is for a term period of four (4) years, will be awarded to the lowest technically compliant qualified bidders who meet the Company’s requirements  outlined under these specifications.

 

Bapco Energies reserves the right to ADD or OMIT areas/floors during the tenure of this contract on  a prorate basis.

 

Main Services required are as below:

 

Ø  Civil Maintenance Services and minor works

Ø  Electrical Maintenance Services and minor works

Ø  HVAC Maintenance Services

Ø  Plumbing/Firefighting Maintenance Services

Ø  Pest control services

Ø  Landscaping and indoor plant maintenance Services

Ø  Specialized maintenance services.

1.     Mandatory Criteria

1.1  

BIDDERs shall minimum 5 years’ experience in similar field (highrise buildings with district cooling)  and provide with their bid response, forreview by the Company as part of the bid evaluation process, a proof of theirprevious experience relevant to the provision of the services that arerequired as specified herein, in the form of copies of Client letters ofreference/ credentials from Clients/ completion certificates issued byClients, including contract start and completion dates, contract and POvalues, etc. The relevant supporting documents submitted shall also includethe current and valid contact information (address, contact numbers, contactemails etc.) for verification by Bapco. Non-submission of any of theinformation will result in the disqualification of the bid.

 

 

1.2  

BIDDERS SHALL provide along with their bidan organization chart, with the minimum key personnel.

BIDDERS SHALL submit along with the bid documents theOrganization chart, relevant certificates, CVs, and proof of employment inthe form of Bahrain CPR or National Identity Cards of the personnel. An auditvisit and interviews may be conducted by Bapco at the time of evaluation toverify and confirm the information provided in the evidence documentssubmitted with the bid.

 

 

1.3  

BIDDERs shall have and demonstrate thefollowing:                                        

1) Fully auditable and active HSE Policy,HSE Procedures relevant to onsite activities and Safety Training Plan inoperation within their organization                               

2) BIDDERS SHALL have in their full-time employment, as part oftheir company overhead structure, a minimum of 1 no   NEBOSH (Level 3 General Certification inOccupational Health and Safety) qualified Safety Officer with minimum of five(5) years’ work experience. Copy of CV including certificates for the aboveand and proof of employment in the form of Bahrain CPR or National IdentityCards of the person shall be submitted along with the bid documents andtraining records in the past 5 years.                                        

 

 


How to Participate?

  • Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Monday, 27 October 2025
  • Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
  • For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
  • The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, or Insurance Policy.(or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.
  • The bids deposit place: (As Mentioned in the Tender Documents)
  • This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
  • In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
    • Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender's subject.
    • Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
  • This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
  • Small and Medium Enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender.
