Bapco Upstream is publishing Pre-qualification invitation for the Pre-qualification for the High Sensitivity Smoke Detection System. The scope of work for the Manufacturer with respect to the High Sensitivity Smoke Detection System shall include but not limited to submitting all documents along with the pre-qualification application as per specification for the High Sensitivity Smoke Detection System, compliance to specification and attachments, proof of evidence of manufacturers’ previous experience for manufacture and supply of High Sensitivity Smoke Detection System as per specification (minimum 5 years), Applicant (Manufacturer) to submit reference or experience list indicating purchasers or client, type, size, year of installations, location, environmental conditions similar to GCC, total years of experience and service, confirming that the High Sensitivity Smoke Detection System is suitable for installation in indoor conditions with air-conditioned building and suitable to operate continuously without failure, without error and without incurring long or short-term damage to the equipment when the air-condition unit/HVAC is out of commission. Applicant (Manufacturer) to indicate Maximum operating temperature. Applicant (Manufacturer) is certified and operates an effective documented quality management system based on the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. Applicant (Manufacturer) has submitted the valid Certificate as per the requirements, Applicant (Manufacturer) has submitted deviation list mentioning technical deviations or mark "NO DEVIATION" in case of no deviation. Applicant (Manufacturer) shall confirm to provide vendor data filled in to Instrument datasheets in ISF format (*.isf) for SPI (SmartPlant Instrumentation) Or Company specified Excel format, Applicant (Manufacturer) has confirmed in writing that offered High Sensitivity Smoke Detection System model is not obsolete and the same will not become obsolete in the next 5 years. Applicant (Manufacturer) has confirmed in writing that offered High Sensitivity Smoke Detection System model is supported for minimum of 10 Years from date of commissioning or PO placement whichever is later. Applicant (Manufacturer) has provided details of Authorized Distributor/Product Agent in Bahrain or within GCC, appointing agency letter shall be provided and if there is no agent to mention in writing that no authorized agent in Bahrain or within GCC. Applicant (Manufacturer) shall confirm that the High Sensitivity Smoke Detection System shall be installed inside buildings, to detect smoke inside the Electrical and Instrument cabinets, false floor and false ceiling. Typical building layout is attached in the specification for calculation and design suitable High Sensitivity Smoke Detection System (Quantity of streams, length of detection, network). Maximum number of detectors per loop to be specified by manufacturer.
