1.0.         MANDATORY CRITERIA

                The bidders MUST fulfil the following mandatory criteria and shall submit documentary evidence in support of meeting the criteria below along with the bid.  Failing in submitting these documents will disqualify the bid.  No documents shall be accepted after the deadline fixed for submission of the bids.

1.1.                 Must have valid membership of an International Pest Control Association, like British Pest Control Association (BPCA) or National Pest Management Association (NPMA). A copy of the valid membership certificate shall be submitted along with the bid.

1.2.           Must comply with the minimum safety standards of BAPCO as defined in “Guide to Safety 2001 Edition” as amended and should have a safety plan for execution of the job for which the tender is submitted. A copy of the Bidder’s EHS Policy, Safety Manual and the Proposed Safety Plan for the subject work shall be submitted with the bid.

1.3.           Must have previously successfully undertaken services in  at least 3 large establishments like industrial plants, commercial complex, a residential compound with minimum 100 nos. of houses, hospital, catering and recreational facilities, where similar pest control services were provided during the last 5 years. Client references/contact./Copies of completion certificates shall be submitted with the bid as evidence.

1.4.           Must have minimum four (4) no. pest control technicians and a minimum one (1) no. supervisor.  All of them must be qualified in Pest Control related training courses and must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the gulf region. They should be currently working full time in pest control contracts undertaken by the bidder.  The supervisor must have a valid driving license and shall be registered/sponsored with the bidding company.

1.5.           Must have the following minimum resources(photos of the Premises and vehicles registration certificate shall be submitted.

                  1.5.1             Bidder must have a well-established office with qualified office staff to run the contract and an attendant to receive calls and email facilities.

                  1.5.2             Bidder must have at least two(2) pick up vehicles, and other plants/machinery required for carrying out Pest Control service at all times.

                  1.5.3             Bidder must have well ventilated storage facilities for the pesticides and equipment required for various Pest control and treatment works.
