This 5-years Purchase Agreement is intended to cover the provision of hired Mobile Air Conditioning Units and Generators for supporting Bapco operational requirements in all Company premises by means of emergency backup power, HVAC units to improve working conditions on T&I and in addition, to supplement existing centrifugal chillers to cope with increased loading condition during summer time.
The scope of this P.A, includes the provision of, among others:
- Temporary air conditioning andpower facilities for control rooms, offices and security buildings,substations, portacabins, Computer Room, cafeteria, at Refinery, SitraWharf and Tank Farm.
- Temporary air-conditionedshelter and lunch areas for the comfort and wellbeing of large number ofworkers during annual T&I's.
- Air conditioning insidevessels and columns during T&I's to allow critical path work tocontinue unaffected by high ambient outside temperatures.
- Generators for temporarybackup during power outages to allow the maintenance works to be performedon safety conditions.
- Generators and HVAC units forEngineering Division projects and BMP.
- Portable chillers for theWastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).
MANDATORY EVALUATION CRITERIA:
1. EXPERIENCE
a. Contractor SHALL have at least 5 years previous experience in the hire of mobile air conditioning units and generators.
2. HEALTH, SAFETY & ENVIRONMENT
a. Contractor SHALL have an Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems conforming to the requirements of ISO 45001-2018, OSHAS-18001 or a similar internationally recognized standard.
b. Contractor SHALL have in their full-time employment a well experienced and qualified Safety Officer with NEBOSH International or National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
3. WORKSHOP & FACILITIES IN BAHRAIN
The Contractor SHALL have a well-established facilities and support infrastructure in Bahrain and suitable for the service required.
4. SUPPLY OF RENTAL EQUIPMENT
Contractor should be able to provide equipment for rental as per the Company requirements given in Tender documents.
