Tender Description

A local tender to provide for governmental hospitals specifically for M.O.T which is includes all the necessary medical supplies such as different types of sutures that used used in operation theatre and Delivery room. These materials are essential for patients undergoing surgical procedures, and consultants and specialists depend on them to bind the skin together and to bind large wounds and to employ a material that can be effective and leave no trace on the patients body. the patients bodies do not retain any residues of the medication because it is dissolved in the blood and other bodily fluids, leaving no trace whatsoever. It should be noted that several doctors and consultants have stated that it has been tried on patients without causing any negative side effects to the patients as of now. However, because to its quality, which is demonstrated in the treatment of large wounds that might result in death, surgical procedures as well as work on integrating it into the patients

Additional Notes

First and foremost, we would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to Your Excellency for supporting the health sector, work, and efforts to meet patient needs, as well as for bringing up the subject in relation to these delicate, crucial, and essential materials that were recently made available through the local tender, which has the number MOH/007/ 2022. These are diapers for the elderly and the crippled because these supplies are vital to the patients' quality of life.

 

 First: These materials are essential for patients undergoing surgical procedures, and consultants and specialists depend on them to bind the skin together and to bind large wounds and to employ a material that can be effective and leave no trace on the patient's body.

 

Second, you are aware that the patients' bodies do not retain any residues of the medication because it is dissolved in the blood and other bodily fluids, leaving no trace whatsoever. It should be noted that several doctors and consultants have stated that it has been tried on patients without causing any negative side effects to the patients as of now. However, because to its quality, which is demonstrated in the treatment of large wounds that might result in death, surgical procedures as well as work on integrating it into the patient's body can be performed without the assistance of nursing staff or others.


بداية نود ان نتقدم بجزيل الشكر و التقدير لمعاليكم لمساندة القطاع الصحي و العمل و ايجاد كل السبل الموفرة لاحتياجات المرضى و اشارة الى الموضوع اعلاه بخصوص هذه  المواد الحساسة والبالغة الاهمية والتي لا يمكن الاستغناء عنها  والتي طرحت مؤخرا في المناقصة المحلية والتي تحمل رقم  MOH/007/2022وهي الحفاضات الخاصة بكبار السن و المعاقين حيث ان هذه المواد  ضرورية لما لها من اهمية بالغة بالنسبة الى حياة مرضى .

 

 فأولا : هذه المواد ضرورية للمرضى  الذين يخضعون للعمليات الجراحية وعليها يعتمد الأطباء الاستشارين والاختصاصيون في ربط الجلد ببعضه وكذلك في ربط الجروح الغزيرة واستخدام نوعية ممكن ان تكون جيدة وان لا تكرك اثرا في جسم المريض .

 

ثانيا : لا يخفى عليكم بالنسبة الى المرضى حيث انها لا تترك أثرا في جسم المريض لانها تتم اذابتها مع السوائل الموجودة في جسم الانسان وكذلك الدم علما بأنه وحسب إفادات الكثر من الاختصاصين والاستشارين والذين اوضحوا انه تمت تجربتها على المرضى دون ان تكون هناك اثارا جانبية للمرضى بعد العمليات الجراحية  وكذلك العمل على تركيبها في جسم المريض دون الحاجة الى مساعدة الكادر التمريضي او غيرها غير ان جودتها كما أوضحت في معالجة الجروح الغزيرة والتي من الممكن تسبب الألم الى المرضى


How to Participate?

  • Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Thursday, 14 December 2023
  • Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
  • For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
  • The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Insurance Policy or Cash (or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.
  • The bids deposit place: (As Mentioned in the Tender Documents)
  • This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
  • In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
    • Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender's subject.
    • Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
  • This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
  • Small and Medium Enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender. The certificate is awarded by Ministry of Industry Commerce and Tourism to the SMEs and can be obtained when applying on the SMEs Registration System which can be reached via the following link: https://www.moic.gov.bh/en/eServices/sme
