Supply of Various Types of Falcon Gold Cutleries and Silverware for Inflight Services

KNOCK OUT CRITERIA

1.Supplier do not comply with the below delivery mode will be disqualified:

International suppliers to include CNF/CIF/DDP Bahrain.

Local supplier to include Gulf Air stores.

2.Proposals with no samples will be disqualified, all samples to be delivered directly to Procurement Dept. at Gulf Air Headquarters before the closing date of the tender.

3.Samples received should comply with the specifications mentioned in Appendix A and will be treated as Preproduction samples Proposals with Samples that don’t comply to the Appendix A or with an item missing from the set will be disqualified.

4. Suppliers who do not pass the wash and heat test (20 cycles) with a result of the item breaking or getting any indentation will be disqualified.

Notes on the Wash & Heat test:

Wash and Heat tests will be conducted by the Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) catering unit. Both Tests will be conducted through the wash test of 20 cycles with the pass result of the item not breaking or getting any indentation.

معايير الاستبعاد والتقييم

1.سيتم استبعاد المورد في حال عدم الالتزام بطرق التسليم أدناه

الموردين الدوليين: يشمل CNF/CIF/DDP البحرين.

الموردين المحلين: يشمل مخازن طيران الخليج

2.سيتم استبعاد العروض التي لا تحتوي على عينات، وسيتم تسليم جميع العينات مباشرة إلى قسم المشتريات في المقر الرئيسي لشركة طيران الخليج قبل تاريخ إغلاق المناقصة.

3.يجب أن تكون العينات المُقدمة مطابقة للمواصفات المذكورة في الملحق A وتعتبر على انها عينات ما قبل الإنتاج. سيتم استبعاد المقترح في حال تقديم عينات ناقصه او غير مطابقة للمواصفات المذكورة في ملحق A

4.الموردين الذين لم يجتازوا اختبارالغسيل والحرارة (20 دورة) بنتيجةسيتم استبعاد كسر العنصر أو الحصول على أي مسافة بادئة.

ملاحظات حول اختبار الغسيل والحرارة:

سيتم إجراء اختبارات الغسيل والحرارة من قبل وحدة التموين التابعة لخدمات مطار البحرين (BAS). سيتم إجراء كل من الاختبارين خلال اختبار الغسيل المكون من)  20 دورة( مع نتيجة النجاح المتمثلة في عدم كسر، خدش او تصدع وتشوه المنتج.

How to Participate?

Those who are capable and wish to participate in the above tender have to purchase the Tender Documents online through the Bahrain Tender Board’s portal https://etendering.tenderboard.gov.bh starting from Thursday, 25 January 2024
Bidders are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above or at the rate of 1% of the tender value whichever amount is lesser, provided that no initial bonds value shall be less than BD 100/-. (Except for the Two-envelope tenders).
For Two-envelope tenders, bidders, are requested to enclose with their bids the Initial Bond for the amount specified above.
The initial bond should be in the form of a Certified Cheque, Bank Guarantee, Insurance Policy or Cash (or as specified in the Tender Documents) valid for the duration specified above.
The bids deposit place: (As Mentioned in the Tender Documents)
This tender is subject to the provisions of the Tender Law issued by the Legislative Decree No. 36 of 2002, its amendments, and its Implementing Regulations issued by the Decree No. 37 of 2002.
In addition, these conditions have to be considered:
- Enclose copy of a valid Commercial Registration Certificate (CR) in line with the tender's subject.
- Enclose copy of a valid certificate of compliance with the employment percentages for Bahraini manpower (Bahranization Certificate) issued by the Ministry of Labour.
This advertisement is considered supplementary to the tender documents. In case of any discrepancy between the Advertisement and the Tender Document, the Tender Document prevails.
Micro, small and medium enterprises are eligible to obtain 10% preference in the financial evaluation stage, when submitting the "SMEs Classification Certificate" during bidding for this tender. The certificate is awarded by Ministry of Industry Commerce and Tourism to the SMEs and can be obtained when applying on the SMEs Registration System which can be reached via the following link: https://www.moic.gov.bh/en/eServices/sme
